About White Noise Mixer

Who makes it

White Noise Mixer is made by an independent software developer who wanted a noise generator that plays without gaps, keeps going with the phone locked, and lets you shape the sound yourself.

Your browser generates the sound live with the Web Audio API, so there are no audio files to download and nothing loops. The site is free. Tips on Ko-fi and, later, affiliate links on some pages help cover the costs.

Privacy

There are no accounts, no ads and no advertising trackers. The site doesn't set cookies.

Your settings, sleep timer choice and saved mixes are kept in your browser's local storage on your own device. They never reach a server. Clearing your browser's site data removes them. The site also caches its own pages so it works offline.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It doesn't use cookies or build a profile of you. Fonts load from Google Fonts, so Google receives the usual request details, such as your IP address, when a page loads.

You're welcome to use White Noise Mixer for free, for personal or commercial listening. It's provided as is, without warranties, and it isn't a medical device. Keep the volume comfortable.
